Starting June 26, 2010 the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum is offering an in-depth look at Chicago’s movable bridges. Join Jim Phillips, the museum’s bridge docent and founder of chicagoloopbridges.com, in the museum’s gear room and discover why Chicago has more movable bridges than any other city in the world and other fascinating bridge facts. Presentations start every half hour between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the following days:

Friday, July 2
Saturday, July 3
Friday, July 30
Saturday, July 31
Fridays and Saturdays in August, September and October.
