October 2011

100 cool sites. 48 hours. Go.

You’ve seen Chicago’s beautiful buildings from the outside…now the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) is giving you one weekend to get inside some of the city’s architectural treasures. Visit the Bridgehouse Museum and more than 100 other sites for free on October 15th and 16th as part of openhousechicago (OHC), a free citywide event happening October 15th and 16th that opens the door to the city’s great spaces and places that hold neighborhood secrets and surprises.

The Bridgehouse Museum was selected as one of more than 100 sites for the inaugural openhousechicago. Sites also include the “original” Sears Tower in North Lawndale, the hidden stage of the legendary Sunset CafĂ© Jazz Club, little-known Frank Lloyd Wright sites, and many more.

Don’t miss out! Look for a special OHC section in the October 13th issue of the Chicago Tribune, and check out www.openhousechicago.org for full details and to register for the event. CAF members get special OHC access throughout the weekend.
